About BringYourPaws

We help people travelling with dogs and cats find hotels that will actually accept their animals — and understand the conditions before they book, not at the front desk.

The problem we are trying to fix

Plenty of booking sites will tell you a hotel is “pet friendly”. Far fewer will tell you that the limit is one animal under 11 kg, that the fee is charged per pet per night rather than once per stay, or that you have to phone ahead to be put in a particular room. Those are the details that decide whether a trip works, and they are usually the details that are missing.

So this site is organised around them. Every property page answers four questions in order: will they take my animals, is that acceptance conditional, what will it cost, and where do I check the room price.

What we cover today

28,967 properties across 100 destinations in 15 countries. Those figures are computed from what we have actually published — if a destination is not listed, we do not claim to cover it.

The rules we hold ourselves to

  • Unknown stays unknown. A missing fee is never shown as free, and a missing weight limit is never shown as no limit.
  • A condition is never hidden behind a badge. If a hotel needs a phone call first, that sentence sits next to the acceptance, not in a footnote.
  • Every pet rule carries its source and the date we checked it.
  • No reviews, no star ratings, no urgency, no invented numbers of any kind.

How we check pet policies sets all of this out in full, including what we do when two sources disagree.

How we are funded

Some links to booking providers earn us a commission. It does not change what you pay, and it does not change how we describe a pet policy or the order in which properties appear. We take no bookings and no payments ourselves.
